My gosh, what a huge amount of effort on the part of Mr. Rummel!
If your books are accessible might you be able to do a look up for me? If so
it's Carles F. Bixby, Company M 2nd US CAV. All I know is what is at
civilwardata.com, he enlisted at age 18 and lost an arm at Trevillian
Station in 1864. I would like to know if he was present for Gettysburg.
