"Joe is also a huge ACW and Gettysburg fan - he was the original designer of the Great Campaign's of the American Civil War series originally published by Avalon Hill and now by Multi Man Publishing.  He lived for several years in what was originally the railroad station at Fairfield Station, up against  South Mt.

I wouldn't be surprised if our own Sal (of Red Patch) knows Joe, as he arranges just the sort of tours that Joe gives.

Just so we don't get the hook and keep on the Gettysburg topic - you may not realize it, but Gettysburg and Ste. Mere Eglise are sister cities. A friend of mine was here in Gettysburg with a group of students and teachers from Ste. Mere Eglise a couple of weeks back - in conjunction with his chapter of the 82nd Airborne Division.  Our mayor welcomed them and they toured the battlefield. 

See - we are still on topic!!!!
