I wholeheartedly agree with Jim's thoughts on this matter. Putting together a tour for the GDG in 2000 and a few since then have definitely led to learning alot more about the battle for me.

You know, it's never too early to volunteer for a GDG Tour in 2009! :)

I remember Jim Cameron giving a muster tour and making the comment that he
didn't really understand this particular part of the battle (Stony Hill
IIRR), so he put the tour together so that he could. I can now really
understand what he was talking about! Putting together this class forced me
to bring together the little bits and pieces I've picked up over the years
and bring them into some sort of cohesive, presentable presentation. I'm
certain I learned as much as the kids.

I can't wait to do something like that again!
