It is still there. But of course, it was also here that after the city ( many, many,many years ago) tore down the house in which Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence, and after a building that Frank Furness designed was built on that site - we tore that down and now on that site, is a reconstruction of the house that Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence.
