GDG- Preservation: Rebuilding demolished houses?

As Jim said earlier, the NPS position is not to rebuild those places already
gone.  I would think that is a financial decision, since the cost would be
quite steep.  However, one consideration would be a public-private
partnership similar to what was done with the new VC.

Corporate sponsorship for recreating these buildings might be the way to go.
I imagine companies would be more than happy to have their names associated
with the Gettysburg Battlefield.  Recognition for their support could given
on a plaque or marker at the site of the reconstructed buildings.
