<< BTW if you ever go to Boylds Bear center you will find that it is about 90%
female shoppers. So that is not sexist, Gee give it a break! >>

No one said that most of the shoppers at Boyd's were not women. What I was questioning was the assumption that because the survey claimed that more women went to Gettysburg than men; it had to be because of Boyd's Bears or shopping in general. As anyone knows who has worked with polls/surveys/statistics - you can make them come out to whatever you want. What I would like to know is where and when were the surveys taken? That could skew the results, such at in this case 1/6 of the locations were shopping areas - so obviously you get people who are shopping or you could get one person filling out multiple surveys if they hit more than one of those 12 survey locations. I don't know enough about it from the article. Which is why I question the assumption that there are more women going to Gettysburg because of Boyd's Bears. Maybe it is because of that and the history. What were the percentages before Boyd's Bears and other shopping existed?
