I thought the same thing Sherrie. First, it was sexist - second, I went to Gettysburg several times last year and hit the VC almost every time and no one ever asked me why I was there. Maybe they only asked the men on the field and only the women at Boyd's Bears?
I can cite several times when I have been with a male on a battlefield tour (at various locations) and I would ask a question, but the answer was addressed to the male. The assumption is that I was dragged to the field as oppose to reality where it was the other way around.
