GDG- CWPT Most Endangered Battlefields Announced

(I submitted this earlier today but it did not
post):

I just returned from the announcement of the Most
Endangered Battlefields byy the Civil War
Preservation Trust at the National Press Club in
Washington DC.

While I am disappointed that the 1863 Battle of
Falling Waters, Maryland did not make the top 25
this year - as it did last year, I am pleased to
share with you that Hunterstown, PA (July 2,
1863) did make the top 10 battlefield (and the
ONLY one directly related to the Gettysburg
Campaign).

Congratulations to those who submitted
Hunterstown, Pa to the CWPT.

I plan to re-submit Falling Waters, Maryland
(July 14, 1863) for next year's Most Endangered
Battlefields.  More on that later this year.
