GDG- Manassas to Gettysburg (driving)

Jim,
I have ridden on the cross-Bronx and driven on its fellow denizen of hell, the cross-Westchester (after traversing the River Styx, the Tappan Zee Bridge and its toll plaza right before the entrance to the cross-Westchester). You are wrong, the New York demon twins are, at best, at the sixth circle of hell. The 7th circle is totally occupied by I-95, particularly at Richmond, Virginia. I have taken 15 and 29 all the way from Camp Hill, PA (across the Susquehanna from Harrisburg) to Greensboro, N.C., rather than drive an inch of I-95 (and a good thing, too. When I arrived at my destination, Sanford, N.C., on my second trip, I learned that I-95 through DC and Virginia had been closed because of one of the DC sniper murders).
Regards,
Margaret
