GDG- Request for Advice

D-Day  beaches.  I plan to go there in early May.  I am primarily  interested

I have no idea about any relevant battlefield tours, but might I recommend  
for reading Joseph Balkoski's excellent "Omaha Beach" (and his more recent 
"Utah  Beach")?
