GDG- Alonzo's Brother

[CHAR & CHARLIE]

Lt Howard B. Cushing ,3rd Cav on may 5, 1871 was killed along with 3 
soldiers  and several civilians by Cochise's Chiricahua Apaches.  Stripped 
and mutilated as was typical of many victims of  Indians attacks.  No less a 
death than his brother 8 years earlier.
