My grandfather had a copy of this when I was a very little girl - I
memorized it by the time I was seven, I think! It's still available, in an updated
edition - and I have that - but I treasure my early edition I found on e-bay!

Esteemed GDG Member Contributes:

For my birthday, last tuesday, a friend secured for me a pamphlet titled

"Human Interest Story's of the three Days' Battles at Gettysburg with
pictures"
By Herbert L. Grimm and Paul L. Roy, copywrite 1927, Times and News
Publishing Co. Gettysburg Pa.

I think it's a pamphlet sold to the tourists, as there are a lot of pictures
of monuments and paragraghs about things to see. There's a photo of the
Peace Memorial, which we know, (and it says here), was dedicated in 1938, which
leads me to believe it was reprinted several times.

It may be one of the most beautifull Birthday Gifts I didn't buy for myself.

Are any of the esteemed members familiar with it?
