Hi Allen, I had the following stuff with me - a full small back pack and a
wonderful wife who eagerly joined me. I stayed at the Burg for two weeks so
I did the same thing most of the days at different parts of the battlefield.

Jay Jordensen - "Bloody Wheatfield"
Harry Pranz - "Gettysburg the second day"
Garry Adelman - "Devil: Den"
Gettysburg Monuments - a field guide
Gettysburg Then & Now - photos then and now
FNPG's booklet #1 - "Lt Fisher and the 10th US Inf" walking tour
FNPG's day two map
Gettysburg Magazine article on "Anderson attacks the Wheatfield"
Article on "Kershaw's Brigade at the Rose Farm"
And copies of all of the Gettysburg Magazine's maps that I have been putting
into a binder of maps of the battle
1 Cannon 30D digital camera/1 Sony digital camera resulting in over 200
pictures that day. Including a great shot of the large tree that fell south
of the stone wall.

One of the best parts of walking a certain area for an extended period of
time is the people you bump into and the conversations that result. Another
thing that stood out is how many drive thru the area at 25 mph and never
slow down or get out of the car to even read the plaques or monuments. But
they will go home and say that they were there. I guess they at one end
of the spectrum and we are on the other!
