Jim -
For the Confederate side of the story, I have to suggest D. Scott
Hartwig's DVD from PCN productions (www.pcntv.com). They captured a tour
he gave a few years ago on the Confederate assaults - focusing on the
command decisions that led to the awful loss of life. It's about 90
minutes long, and Scott's descriptions are so clear that you feel you're
right there with him (and with the Rebels back in '63).
I've watched it a few times while pumping my reclining bicycle, and I
can more easily picture what happened back then.
Regards,
Alan
