Keith, depending on the time you arrive, Troy Harman will be leading a battle walk on Gordon's July 1 attack. We meet on Jones Artillery Avenue off the Old Harrisburg Road, just south of the Lutheran Retirement Village. Starting time 3:30 P.M., scheduled for 3 hours. Also on Saturday, at 8:30 P.M. in the amphitheater, there will be a lecture/presentation by ranger Jim Flook on the punishment of Confederate leaders. If you arrive later than that, there will be another battle walk Sunday at 3:30, but the location and subject has not been announced yet.
Can you bring some cooler weather with you? Or perhaps some decent bagels?

Esteemed Friends

I only get to G burg but twice a year, so you'll forgive me, I hope, for announcing that I will be there, (for the THIRD time) this weekend, arriving Saturday and leaving Tuesday. Besides the usual suspects that i always say hi to and the occasional debt of honor that may need repaying, I'm wondering if anyone else might be wandering about, anyone who wouldn't mind me tagging along, asking obvious questions and making pointless observations?
contact me privately if embarrassed.

K.
