Getttysburg Magazine is indeed a unique resource, more akin to a series  of 
anthologies of original articles rather than a typical "magazine".  If  you 
want to read of groundbreaking research and insightful analysis about  
Gettysburg, including unmatched "microhistories" of individual units, Gettysburg  
Magazine is the place to go.  I have every issue including the first  sitting on my 
"permanent" bookshelves (i.e., those books I consider too valuable  and useful 
to bury in boxes in the basement or garage).  Of my published CW  writings, 
it is the two Gettysburg pieces in which I take the most pride (and  one of 
these days I really really gotta get around to writing down that new  article 
that has very slowly been coalescing in my mind).
