A couple of months ago several of you had suggested reference works for my
research on regimental hospitals. I needed the info for an article I wrote
about a corps badge inscribed to a soldier in the 71st PA who, for much of
his 3 years service (including Gettysburg), was assigned to his regimental
hospital.

The article is in the newest issue of North South Trader's Civil War (Vol.
33 No. 3). They always give me five extra copies for friends, but I don't
have that many friends <g>

During my original querry, some of you had expressed interest on the duties
of a regimental nurse, so if anybody does not subscribe to NSTCW and you
would like to read my article entitled "The Regimental Hospital on the
Battle Field", shoot me an email and I'll send you a copy of the magazine.
For those of you not familar with NSTCW it is mostly for collectors of Civil
War artifacts.

I'm going to put dibbs on one copy for Linda J. Guy because she recently did
a favor for me on another article I am working on (also Gettysburg related!)
