Myles Keogh of Little Big Horn history is buried, along with other local CW heros, in Fort Hill cemetery in my home town. During the Gettysburg battle and after he was with Buffords command and at his side when he died in December '64. My question is where was he during the battle, what was his activities and the like?
If some one can relate some of the actions he took part in the retreat conflicts that would be good too.
The rational of all this is the National Park service was in town today to discuss taking over the Harriet Tubman property/museum and voiced an interest in others from this area who would tie into the ACW time period. A friend and local polition(I try to ignore that) asked what was out there about Myles. I told him what I know and said I would ask this esteemed group for more info. Thank you as always.
                                            YOS, Joe Blair
