Keith,
I guess that they do not have a website. I took a quick look at the USV,
Mifflin Guard, and the National Regt. websites. They are the parent units
of many of the reenactors in the North East. They are not listed on any one
of them as a member unit.

Subject: GDG- Re-enactors question
Esteemed GDG Member Contributes:
We're haveing a local music festival this weekend, and on the web site, they
tout their "Patriot Events":
"The Main feature of the PATRIOTS ZONE is our "living" Civil War Encampment.
The celebrated " New York 3d' will live on site for three days as they did
during the Civil War - authentic uniforms, tents, campfires, drills and
re-enactments, you and your children will be transported back in time to the
unions efforts during this critical time in US history."
I'm wondering "Who are these guy's?" I can't find anything resembling the
celebrated New York 3d on the internet, except for a cavalry outfit. Anyone
have any ideas? I'll ask them when I see them, of course, but my curiousity
is at high gain right now.
Our local re enactors are the 67th NY (1st Long Island) out of Sayville, NY.
I don't think it's them.
Hope someone can give me a hint.
K.
