GDG- Col. Isaac Avery - the rest of the story

Richard Clem's excellent article "Etched in Blood" in the latest GB Magazine 
discusses the death and ultimate re-burial of Col. Isaac Avery in the 
Washington Cemetary in Hagerstown, MD.  Mr. Clem's research determined that 
Col. Avery was erroneously buried as Col. J.E. Ayer.
But there is more to the story.  On Nov. 3, 2007, Col. Avery's family 
dedicated a new grave marker as reported in the Herald-Mail at this link
