GDG- 124th New York Infantry

Actually, the 124th was wearing the blue diamond patch on their caps. The 
Third Division of the Third Corps had recently disbanded, and was sent to 
Birney's Second Division. Members chose to keep the blue diamond emblem at 
Gettysburg.
