GDG- 124th New York Infantry

It's always great to hear of interest in the Orange Blossoms!

The 124th carried predominantly Enfields (.577 caliber), and their badge
would have been the red diamond (Second Brigade, First Division, Third
Corps).  

If you have any other questions, I'd be happy to try my hand at them. 
I've done quite a bit of reading on Colonel Ellis's regiment.
