GDG- Cyclorama Fees

Greetings
The NPS has always charged fees at Gettysburg for the special items, nothing new about that. What is new is the fact that they are pricing one of them out of many visitors price range.
I can go to the , spend $14.00 and view great works all day. Makes the fee at Gettysburg to view just one painting seem a bit much.

To both of you, I do not know anything other than what the article says. I
do wonder if the Cyclorama Gallery will not be a large or special part of
the exhibit.
And I am aware that my examples are for entire museums, not a "gallery." GB
is caught in a conundrum: they cannot charge for the museum, so they will
create a special area and charge for it.
Take care,

Greetings
Bob the fees that you quote are for a place not an exhibit. Hardly the
same, as for the gallery, I for one have no info about what it will include.
Do you?

Some other admission fees:
The Monitor Museum: $12
Monticello $12
Mt Vernon $13
Baltimore Aquarium $21.95
Admittedly most admissions are in the $6-8 range, but the newer and bigger
ones are closer to what the Cyclorama will cost.
I also noticed that the story refers to admission to "the Cyclorama
Gallery," so it will be for more than the painting.

Today's Gettysburg Times printed an article about how Cumberland township
and the school district receive an amusement tax from fees charged at the
VC, and how they have not been receiving as much since the Cyclorama is
being restored.
When it's finished, you'll need $12 to see it.
