GDG- Gen. Armistead's grave

The Longstreet gravesite is impressive but a bit of a jaunt, since he is buried in Gainesville, Georgia's Alta Vista Cemetery with a family plot around his monument. On the other hand, it can be combined with a visit to Magnolia Cemetery in Augusta, Georgia which boasts the burial sites of seven Confederate Generals, the best known of whom is E. Porter Alexander.
