GDG- Doubleday at Gettysburg

Hello,
  I can't resist this topic - Doubleday is the subject of my new book coming out this year - a bio of him to be exact.
  Doubleday was an excellent commander at Gettysburg, but never got the credit for it. I can't give away all the interesting stuff I've found, but there was no love lost between Doubleday and Meade and it had nothing to do with military action in general.
  As far as the old 48 Hours Doubleday - that is a case of 19th Century humor
  Guess what? If you double your day, you get 48 hours!!!
