GDG- Making Gettysburg more rural again, and other things

I've had LBG's tell me that, while they were initially upset when many park roads became one way because of the limits this placed on tour routes, they found that it made it much safer to get tour groups across the roads.

I think you make a valid point on accessibility.  Due to a rather complex mix of orthopedic problems, I don't think I'll be doing much extended walking in the future. One nice side effect of the battlefield restoration is that it makes it much easier for those who cannot walk or can't do much walking to see and appreciate the battlefield.
