GDG- Oates Monument

I don't know if the DE and MD monuments will be moved. There will still be a parking lot in that vicinity, even after the old structures are removed, to allow visitors easier walking access to the cemetery.

The Maryland monument was put in at a time when the park superintendant of 
th era had decreed that all future monuments were to be placed in that area. 
Many try to put their mark on Gettsburg; most who do so mar it at best.
