Well, if you look(ed) to the right, you'd have seen this headline: 
"Police: Man assaulted woman with car on Hanover square" - Seems to me 
that if we're still a nation which produces men Manly enough to lift a 
car and strike another person, I think we're pretty safe as a nation...

PS. I guess you just have a warped sense of humor, or have that 
Canadian-French gene ("I threw my mother down the stairs a kiss") 
because I also saw: "Road assault: Fairfield man accused of kicking man 
in path of traffic" and thought: "What kind of fool hangs around kicking 
a guy in the middle of a traffic lane?"
