GDG- preservation and living in Gettysburg

Lisa,
Well, I come from the perspective of someone who grew up in a very rural area where nothing was close (heck, our house was on a private lane 3/4 of a mile from the main road). In any event, there are quite a few communities within relatively short distances from Gettysburg where you can have all the conveniences. As it is, Gettysburg already has a Wal-Mart and Gettysburg Village.
Currently, I live on the east shore of the Susquehanna and we have two Targets (Harrisburg East and Harrisburg North) within 6.2 miles of each other and a 10 minute drive between them. I'm still trying to figure that one out.
