Interesting.  I recall that at the time it was acquired by the FNPG,  there 
was a good deal of dispute concerning the costs involved, and whether  it was 
a wise use of the organization's financial resourses.

Hope all is well.  You make a good point, and was  one of those who 
questioned the prudence of buying the house as their HQ.   I was not too thrilled to 
see it closed on Sunday during the battle anniversary  weekend this past year.  
Lots of members in town that weekend, and to not  have the place open made no 
sense to me.
