GDG- 71st Pennsylvania and PA Monument

Thank you Alice, I understand that. The generally accepted theory is that if
a soldier is listed as "Present" for the period of May 1 - June 30, 1863, he
*could* have been at Gettysburg. Whereas if he is listed as "Absent" then he
was likely not at the battle. So, if his name is on the monument than he was
"Present" for the period of May 1 - June 30.
