Hi Margaret,
Just to keep track of the figures - I think the diabase is 200,000,037 years old. I believe Dean once told me as an engineer, he wanted to keep the record straight since someone told him the diabase was 200 million years old about 37 years ago.
Its important to keep track of these things :)

No. Never were any volcanoes, and any subterranean magma in the area turned
into rock (igneous diabase) about 200 million years ago during the early
Jurassic era creating the rock formations in Devil's Den, among others.
