GDG- Pickett's charge: various questions

one myself:  IIRC, when Chamberlain is comforting the wounded sergeant, you
can see their breath)  For me, the important thing is not how accurately the
movie portrays the action of the battle.  If, by bringing the conflict to a
greater audience, the movie increases interest in the conflict, and
increases support of the Park, then it is successful, regardless of
how faithfully it depicts the action as it has come down to us.
