Are there not earthworks on Big Round Top built by the 20th Maine? I can't remember for definite or not, as it has been a long time since I have been up that path, or was it just a stone wall?
Thanks
Andy

My question is --Did either the Confederates or the Federals dig earthworks during the battle and are there any remains of them on the park today?
