Hi John, 
That's the stone wall covered with earth. That wall has been rebuilt, well
not all of it.. But now the stones have been uncovered.

I suppose it depends on your definition of earthworks, but these are in
front of the Clump of Trees. The Round Tops can be seen in the distance.

At least when I took the picture I presumed they were entrenchments. Might
be an old wagon road! :)

The picture is from April, 1971. I don't know what it looks like now.
