Walter, that is an impressive list. I think the only catalogue I ever saw
that beats your list is the John Nicholson collection. Wouldn¹t I love to
get my hands on some of the papers and volumes that passed through his
hands.

My favorites are:

³Gettysburg, What to See and How to See it² by John Batchelder - A first
publication signed by the author.
³Early Photography at Gettysburg² by William A. Frassanito
³A Grand, Terrible Drama²- (Ninth MA Bigelow¹s Battery) - Eric A. Campbell
³New York at Gettysburg² - The New York Monuments Commission
³Gettysburg: Culp¹s Hill and Cemetery Hill² - Harry W. Pfanz/²Battle for
the Barb² - doctoral thesis by Dr. Charles C. Fennell
³Gettysburg Then and Now² - John Vanderslice
³Pennsylvania at Gettysburg² - Board of Commissioners
³Brigades at Gettysburg² - Bradley M. Gottfried
³Men and Monuments at Gettysburg² - Fred Hawthorne
³Gettysburg Day 2 A Study in Maps² - John P. Imhoff

My choice of order by priority used is somewhat clouded depending upon what
specific subject I¹m researching, but somehow ³The Gettysburg Campaign - A
Study in Command² by Edwin B. Coddington and ³The Batchelder Papers² edited
by David and Audrey Ladd are always open on my kitchen table.

Please increase our total by ³1² as I found a 3-volume set Ginny had not
included in our total, bringing us to 181.

Regards,

Lew Gage
