GDG- Re: NPS GPS Guidance

Geocashing is not necessarily hidden trinkets.  It can be historical 
monuments or wording on plaques.  We geocashe in our travels all around the 
USA and while there are bad apples in every situation.  for the most part 
geocashers are outdoors people and respectful of the environment.  The 
problem with a geocashe on the battlefield would be the amount of foot 
traffic to a given cashe, but it would be probably no more than the traffic 
at the angle walking all over the grass or around Armistead's monument.
