Alan , 

There is a great article on the 16th Maine in the newest edition of GB
Magazine. I have started to read it. I have found their story to be one of
as much deserving of attention as the 20th Maine.

yes and yes! The 20th ME gets the lion's share of the glory, but it 
seems to me there were a lot of finalists in the "Best Performance by a 
Maine Regiment at Gettysburg" category.
