GDG- 6th NY Cav Monument w/ lightning damage

Greetings,

Will be in Gettysburg this Monday and I'll try and get follow-up info on the subject.  Undoubtedly the monument will be repaired  but the obvious question is: who pays?  Maybe the NPS can pry some money out of the State of New York.  We shall see...
