Is that a question? If so, yes. They refer to it as Benner's Hill but it's 
actually an elongated ridge, the highest point about 500 yards south of York 
Pike is about 445 feet with the southern most knob, south of Hanover Road, at 
about 400 feet.   The hill at the time of battle was farmed by the Wolf, 
Schriver, Shaffer, Lady and Benner families, the largest enterprise being Wolf's. Who 
owned it I have no clue. Yes, it was used as an artillery platform July Second 
and sparingly July Third.
