Folks,
 
Please take it from one that leads battlefield tours in Tennessee all the  
time - if you do not want to worry about ticks and chiggers use Deep Woods Off  
bug spray!  I do and it works tremendously well - and you can get various  
designer scents too!
 
Be generous with spraying your feet and lower legs and socks at least up to  
the knees.
