Greetings,

A Gettysburg connection to Wauhatchie of particular interest to me is that 
Gen. George Greene was wounded at Wauhatchie and was actually forced to take 
time off field duty to recuperate, the only extended leave he took during 
the war.  Not bad for a 62 year old, the oldest general on field duty in the 
Union Army, and perhaps in both armies IIRC.
