GDG- Cyclorama Painting

<< Another factor which convinces me that the Cyclorama building was of a
terrible design - both functionally and asthetically.

The darn thing couldn't properly display the painting, and it couldn't keep
the damn rain out either.

That's what I always found ironic about the efforts of Neutra's fans to 
prevent the removal of the building.  It's a structure with almost literally 
from day one failed in the main functions it was designed for, that of 
serving as an adequate visitor center, and, as a facility for display of the 
cyclorama.  Whatever architectural values its supporters may see in it, as a 
NPS facility, the building was a dreadful botch.
