GDG- Granite Hill Campground

Tom,

Granite Hill is not the best CG in the Gettysburg area, at least for
motorhomes or larger RV's. Sites are somewhat small for long vehicles and
the campground facilities are pretty run down (stayed there in August 2005
because our favorites were full). Better than Granite Hill-but a bit more
pricey-are Drummer Boy CG and Gettysburg KOA.
At Granite Hill, much depends on your equipment. I guess that a tent or
small trailer would be OK, but again the bath houses are kind of shabby and
outdated.

Regards,

Jack Kelly
