GDG- Brigidier Edward L. Thomas' Brigade on July1

I have worn my fingers to the bone using Google to figure out what exactly Brigidier Edward L Thomas's brigade was doing on July 1st at Gettysburg. His August 12th report tells me nothing. His brigade was in Pender's Division and I know what Lane, Perrin and Scales were doing. Does anyone know the answer?
