My all issue with what ifs? Is this... I still have enough of a problem
trying to understand REAL LIFE events let alone thinking through the
theories and fantasy's..

Exactly my point as well, Jim. During 'what if' scenarios, there seems to
be the assumption that we can change a major portion of history, and assume
that everything else remains as is. That's why I rarely engage in too much
'what iffing' (hey, a new phrase!) because as I stated in an earlier post,
if you change one event, it's a what if; change two that are dependant on
each other, and it becomes fantasy.
