GDG- "Pickett's Charge" NOT a misnomer

Hi, GDG!

I've been following the PPT discussion with great interest. Always
wondered how it became known as "Pickett's" charge, when several
other commanders were involved. I think Bruce summed up the question
succinctly and clearly.

P.S., As I sit typin' away to GDG, a large golden cougar is strolling
across my backyard, totally oblivious to everything around
him/her/it. They look so relaxed and at ease (until you come upon
one accidently.) Actually, though, it's easier than many think to
avoid these guys as their standard of personal hygiene isn't the
highest, and when they become excited at the sight of you, they give
off a yucky kind of scent. The F&G guys told us the cat cannot
control the scent, and that it is the only warning you'll have.
