I am not sure if it is on-topic to respond to this or not, but since it was posted, I thought that meant it was on-topic, but I think it speaks highly of him to offer a matching sum, especially when there is no obligation for him to do so. He had every right to petition the comission to build a in Gettysburg, and then not only to pay to fight to have it in Gettysburg, he is offering to pay at least a portion of the cost for those who opposed it and helped to defeat his efforts. For whatever it is worth, I think that speaks highly of him. Sure: $5,000 is not a lot to someone who has millions, but at least he is trying to help the township with a matching grant.

Just my two-cents.

Thanks
Andy
