I don't remember, I just remember Steve being careful to stand directly behind us (he claimed in order to help us with the gun<g>).  The guns are heavy and the recoil is awesome.  When we hear about marches during the Civil War, it is important to remember that infantry had to carry virtually everything they needed on their persons, including those guns.
