I don't know about anyone else, but by the end of Ed and Dean's second tour 
Saturday - which had to be one of the hottest, most humid and generally 
uncomfortable days I can recall spending on the field in some time - I was 
about cooked. If there'd been a pool at the Travelodge, and I'd jumped in, 
steam would have probably come up. Ed Bearss could probably hike to death 
most men half his age. Or younger!
